Role Overview
We’re looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join our team! This role is central to delivering value to our customers by transforming data into actionable insights. You’ll take the lead on developing the strategy for how reporting is built and maintained within our product, ensuring it is both scalable and impactful. In addition, you’ll craft custom analytics solutions for paying customers, analyze A/B test results, and support teams across the organization with data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement the strategy for building and maintaining reporting features within Cinch’s product, ensuring scalability and long-term success.
- Create dynamic and visually engaging reports within Cinch’s platform, enabling customers to understand their data and make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with paying customers to develop tailored analytics solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Analyze the success of A/B tests running within the software, providing actionable recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Support the marketing team by identifying key metrics and highlighting success stories through data-driven reports.
- Partner with the Customer Success team to handle specific data queries, ensuring customers have the insights they need.
- Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact analytics solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases.
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Zoho Analytics or similar).
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Basic programming skills (Python, R, or similar) are a plus.
- Proven ability to develop scalable, effective strategies for data reporting and analytics within a product.
- Ability to understand complex data challenges and provide clear, actionable solutions.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic about building tools and insights that directly impact customer success.
- Thrives in a collaborative, in-office environment, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an analytics, data engineering, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience building analytics dashboards and reports.
- Experience developing strategies for analytics and reporting within software products.
- Proficient in SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or equivalent experience.
